It’s here, folks! I never actually believed I’d be able to finish this in time for the 13th, but somehow I did! I’m still not much farther in unravelling what is supposed to happen and how I want to proceed since last year, partly because I fell into a new fandom hole and got about as many fic ideas out of as I’ve already written for the DCU. So, you know, my head has been elsewhere.

But I’ve also learned a lot since taking that fandom detour and now feel more confident about tackling this little monster of a fic. *pats it*

so i noticed there wasn’t a post spreading awareness on tumblr about this yet. not that i came across anyway which is mainly why i didn’t know about it till a classmate mentioned and then proceeded to show me articles showing the actual horrors not covered by these websites . i have been so thoroughly shocked and horrified at the things i saw i don’t know if it’s a good thing or not that those pictures didn’t make into this article

this is fucking disgusting. you want to protect you people , go ahead! by all means protect your people! but actively using your army to attack unarmed civilians who by the way you have no proof of ever having planned to attack anyway, just based on a rumor and massacring babies like that is not protecting your people. it’s fucking inhuman

i’m sorry if i got too emotional but i’m still so horrified and i haven’t been feeling well all day. perhaps it’s because she showed me the images without a warning and i’m not used to the amount of animalistic savagery and gore, whether it’s movies or anime i always skip. it’s not her fault for showing me i guess, because she couldn’t have known. but it was a trigger i had always subconsciously stayed away from- just... children, man. babies!
