Snake groans,"Cry, for the last time, no," he sternly snaps, glaring at the younger. He gets nowhere with this, however, as Cry only nudges him again.
"Snake please? It'll be fun!" He grins, tugging Snake's hand. Heaving a sigh, Snake gives in and grabs the two biggest pumpkins they had. "This will be so much fun," Cry giggled, bouncing in circles around Snake.
Snake just watches him, quiet as usual. "We still have shopping to do," he points out, looking at the store that loomed over the pair.
By the time they left the store, Snake was convinced Halloween was invented to torture adults. "Dude, look at all this candy!" Cry elatedly bounces around Snake, who stoically guides Cry back to the car.
"I hope that's for the trick or treaters," Snake sighs as he starts putting the candy in the car.
"Of course not! It's for me!" Cry rolls his eyes at Snake. "Oh, yeah, I got you a costume." Cry suddenly speaks up, causing Snake to pause.
"What is it?" Just as he turns to face Cry, the smaller one pulls out the costume he'd mentioned. Of course.
"Cry, there's no way in hell I'm wearing that," Snake puts the last of the candy in the car and shuts the door firmly.
"Snaaaake! Just this once! Please? Jund and I had a bet!" Snake folds his arms over his chest. "I bet him I could get you to wear this." Cry explains seeming to deflate under Snake's irritated glare.
"Wear it...at the party tomorrow?" Snake hesitantly asks. Cry nods, but Snake says no more. They silently gets in the car and heads home.
"Snake, check it out!" Cry grins, giggling to himself as he finishes his pumpkin.
"It's.." Snake sighs and rubs his face, glancing from it to Cry. "Really? You went with that?" Snake goes back to his pumpkin soon after, trying to push Cry's pumpkin out of his head.
"There, finished," Snake had just set the pumpkins outside, Cry walking outside to stand in front of Snake. "I like mine," Cry suddenly says with a grin. "I don't like yours," Snake replies, glaring at it. "Staring like that won't help," Cry points out, glancing at Snake.
"Maybe if I stare hard enough, it'll go away." Snake sighs. Maybe the symbol will be gone before the party. "Oh,c'mon,I thought it was funny! It's like..you're the hero this city needs," Cry grins.
"No I'm not." Snake groans.
"I know, but Batman is." Cry giggles, grinning at the Bat Signal he'd carved into his pumpkin.
