Day 3 of the @sarah_winward And @ifimade challenge: this arrangement made only from items gathered around the farm and some of our greenhouse grown flowers. I love the intersection of seasons with some interesting brown oak leaves, but also some new sprouted greens and flowering branches. My initial inspiration was the amber colored orchid used (this is the first time this plant has bloomed, so I have never seen it before this season), and I knew I wanted some contrast with begonia leaves and hellebores. @flowerfarmer saw those dangly things blooming and sent me a photo from the field last week, so I looked up what we planted there, and then knew I needed to use those filberts. I love dark flowers, but it still feels like spring. This is now one of my favorites, definitely going in my house.
