Linda Kage, Price of a Kiss
This is the Forbidden Men series by Linda Kage. There are 6 more books after this. Each one tells a separate character’s story, but all the characters lives are intertwined within all the books. I absolutely love this series and recommend it to any teen romance novel lovers. Especially for those who like the kind of books where each book is a different characters love story but still connected to the previous stories. Each character is in their college years and have their own demons to face whether it be disabilities, pregnancy (dead giveaway on the third book cover), abuse, etc. I like these stories because the female leads are strong, rather than the usual ‘let my boyfriend fight my battles’. Not saying that I loved every part of the books, there are some scenes, like in every novel, that do make me roll my eyes. My point is the good outweighs the bad. It’s difficult to give a full review without discussing each individual book, so I suggest you read the first & if you liked it then follow up with the next one etc. If you are like me, you’ll end up buying the whole series right after reading the first book.
Happy Reading :)
