FORCE practice continues. I like how the top one came out
Practicing the ‘Force Method’ of drawing ‘created’ by Michael Mattesi. These are water soluable graphite pencils with a bit of kneaded eraser mixed in :) Odogaron has proved to be my favorite to draw from Monster Hunter World, due to his complexity in both anatomy and beautiful, fluid movements. Has anyone ever noticed he uses his tail much like a katana? Hmm...
So after waiting a whole month, it finally arrived. I'm so happy and I can't wait to start reading :D
Practice continues. Traditional art in pen is the worst 😂
Practice.
I never paid much attention to types of pencils or paper before, but as I've been trying to improve my gesture drawing I found it necessary to get newsprint paper as it's cheap. But I didn't anticipate it actually being nicer to work with than a strathmore sketchpad! Switching to this set up with a properly cut charcoal pencil has freed me up to create better, softer strokes that are perfect for practicing gesture drawings like in these 2 minute studies below.
