Been wanting somewhere to talk about force hounds or go more in depth and explain the fucked up shit they have to go through so here it is. Reading dawn of the Jedi and going through Xeshs story made me go crazy !!!

Force Hounds are Force-sensitive individuals who are enslaved and exploited to serve the dark side of the Force. They are subjected to brutal “training” and psychological torture to groom them into servants of the dark side (surprise surprise ik !).

Their training was not training but life long torture— breaking.

They are made to live a life surrounded by death and taught not just to be wielders of it, but to become it. All for their Rakatan masters. Overseers force these individuals to duel to the death, where failure often means execution or being maimed, scarred, or disfigured. They are compelled to kill siblings, loved ones, or anyone they grow close to. Showing no mercy or emotional attachment is not only expected but rewarded heavily by the overseers.

They were enslaved in both body and mind, leaving no room to grow outside of the Rakatan masters will. Any sort of humanity shown in these individuals was stripped from of the ForceHounds and does not go without consequence.

Rakatan overseers also perform agonizing dark side torture tactics on the Force Hounds. During these rituals, they invade and violate the Hound’s mind, forcing them to relive traumatic memories and even implanting false ones. These beings are groomed into emotionless and ruthless killers.

All of this is done to completely shatter their sense of self—to break them beyond repair and seize absolute control over them. In the end, they are reduced to weapons remorseless, obedient, and loyal only to the Rakata.
