hi  everyone,  my  name  is  key  (  stan  shinee  )  and  i’m  here  to  bring  you  poe  dameron,  the  galaxy’s  sweetheart.  i’ll  have  some  things  under  the  cut  that  go  into  his  backstory  a  little  more  for  those  who  are  curious  about  him.  i  also  addressed  his  tlj  characterization  and  the  spice  runner  plot  from  tros  because  that  was  a  big  pile  of  sh*t.  anyway,  i’m  excited  to  write  with  you  all  !

poe’s parents are badass and outsold every other parent in existence 

his dad was an accomplished sergeant and his mom was a pilot (regarded as one of the best in the galaxy) during the war, his father fought alongside han while his mother worked with leia on naboo and also got to know luke (he was the one who helped her decide to retire and settle down to raise poe and that is very soft i think)

luke gave his mom a tree fragment before she and his dad retired, they planted it on yavin 4 so poe grew up w/ the tree and was familiar with the force since he was a kid

poe’s earliest memory was getting to play with the controls of his mother’s a-wing on their home planet, he loves his mom SO much

his mom died when he was six, so it was just he and his dad on their ranch on yavin 4 from then on

followed in his mother’s footsteps and was a pilot in the new republic starfleet, climbed in the ranks as kings do, was highly esteemed--- eventually defected to the resistance because he wanted to save the galaxy like a good boy

leader of black squadron, the best squadron in the resistance 

so i am hcing that he WAS a spice runner, but he was actually on a secret mission for the resistance because it’s the only thing that actually makes sense and i refuse to believe otherwise lmao jj come beat my ass for it 

so yeah, briefly a spice runner but he was undercover and eventually left to go back to the resistance after the mission was over

his ooc characterization from tlj is due to the trauma he suffered in tfa because again, it’s the only viable explanation for the way he acted, rian come beat my ass for it

he’s now addressing that trauma and working through it both with the help of friends and professionals, but that’ll be put on pause now that hell is breaking loose again because poe doesn’t know what self care is during times like these :/

his priority right now is maintaining peace and making sure that everyone is prepared for the worst c’monnnn general dameron 

 very much under pressure, but most of it is his own, very afraid of what’s to come but he’s putting on a brave face for his family aka the resistance 

he’s trying his best and we should thank him for it 

he has bb-8 with him at all times! he’s actually a therapy droid that was given to him when he was a kid, so post-war he’s useful for that again and also he’s not going to part ways with his son ever

KYLO REN/BEN SOLO is TWENTY NINE years old, and hails from THE DEAD. he is STRONG MINDED yet CONFLICTED, and looks a lot like ADAM DRIVER.

i’m p sure you all know ben’s backstory but, he fell to the dark side thanks to snoke aka palp, became kylo ren, led the knights of ren, killed snoke and became supreme leader, then was eventually turned back to the light with the help of his mother and father and the love of his life, who he gave his life to save without a second thought, etc.

anyWAY i don’t wanna get too into my post-tros theories but here, ben got stuck in the world between worlds and suffered there for a while bc he could see rey but couldn’t talk to her or tell her he was there at ALL so even tho he gave his life for her, he’s had to watch her be alone and wants to be there for her so badly. he thought he was being selfless by letting her live but now he feels awful for leaving her and only hates himself a little bit more for it (big RIP)

boi feels guilty for everything he did in his life basically, and when he’s brought back to life, he feels like he doesn’t deserve it at all. but he takes it bc he needs this second chance to find rey and make her happy and make sure she isn’t alone, and to reconcile with his family and do his best to make amends, basically he’s a big walking ball of Emo but we all pretty much knew that tbh

so YES i will add more HCs as i think of them but!! for now pls come plot with the sad boi! give him LOVE!

     LEIA ORGANA is TWENTY-TWO years old,    and hails from THE DEAD.    she is RESOLUTE yet BRAZEN,    and looks a lot like SYNNØVE KARLSEN.

      hey,   hi,   hello!   i’m ally,   twenty-one,   chilling in gmt,   i go by she/her pronouns  &  i’m here playing the princess turned general of my dreams,   miss leia organa!   it’s been a hot minute since i last played leia but the muse is so there following the release of tros and i’m just totally stoked because ...  i absolutely adore her.   this won’t be the longest intro in the world just because her story’s pretty well known,   i’ll be expanding on it a long the way but this is really just a call for plots,   connections,   chats,   the whole lot and everything in-between  —  i’d really love to talk to you and get some balls rolling!   leia,   as of tros,   is dead...   however,   she’s been revived here in her twenty-two,   empire strikes back era body and she remembers everything...   her final memory,   of course,   being calling out to her son,   using all the power she had left with the force to reach out to him in that moment,   ultimately sacrificing herself in the process so,  she could give him that final push over to returning to the light,   with the hope that,   together,   he and rey could go defeat palpatine.   i like to think she knew what was going to happen,   she knew it was her time and that her final act had to be for her son,   he was where her hope lied in that moment 100%.   and then she was reunited with quite literally,   everyone she loves as force ghosts lmao and then bam,   she’s here!   with an eye to be a leading member of the new government they’re forming,   who knows what’ll happens next,   only time will tell but do come plot in the meantime tysm ♡

my  boy  obi -  wan  kenobi  is  a  well - known  jedi  master ,  mentored  by  the  wise  qui - gon  jinn ,  trained  anakin  skywalker  as  a  boy  (  and  felt  pain  when  he  turned  ) ,  and  swore  to  protect  the  twins  after  they  were  born ,  even  in  exile

as  you  can  tell . . .  mans  never  caught  a  B R E A K 

so  after  showing  up  in  naboo  in  the  flesh ,  young  again ,   you  can  definitely  say  that  obi - wan  is  Big  Confused™

while  he  is  back  to  his  young  self ,  his  memories  pretty  much  go  up  to  where  we  last  saw  him  (  or  his  force  ghost  self  ) :  celebrating  on  endor  after  the  defeat  of  the  empire  in  the  return  of  the  jedi 

he  is  happy  for  the  victory  of  the  resistance ,  along  with  reuniting  with  familiar  faces  but  still  concerned  for  what’s  going  to  happen  in  the  future

he’s  not  afraid  to  serve  again  and  do  what’s  right ,  and  he’s   d e f i n i t e l y   going  to  enjoy  his  youth  too  !

the mandalorian “mando” is a bounty hunter and fugitive. he was adopted by the mandalorians after his parents were killed by separatist droids. always decked out in his beskar armor, he is never allowed to remove his helmet (a violation in the mandalorian tribe). mando is currently on the run with an alien infant across the galaxy, taking odd jobs & hiding in random planets to keep themselves safe. he has made a number of allies in different places and although he is of questionable moral character, he will fight to protect the people he cares about.

mando is puzzled by his sudden appearance in naboo. he arrived without the razor crest (his trusty ship) & has nothing but the clothes on his back and the company of the child in its floating bassinet. he will be laying low, seeking answers for his mysterious emergence on the planet.

a naboo native, born to an influential family and inherently gifted with the force. as palpatine, he had quite the political career as his homeworld’s representative, but that desire for greater power was ouTTA CONTROL.

i’ll spare you all of trade federation disputes and zoom right through the political unrest, rise to supreme chancellor, the commencement of the clone wars, the seduction of poor anakin, execution of order 66... *deep breath* like 18 death stars later, resurfacing from death, forming the final order, and uhhh finally we died at the hands of rey and the strength of all the great jedi past. or did we...?

you think mister sheev here even hesitated for a second when he was thrust back to his home planet? u thought.

sure, it’s something of an awkward reunion on all fronts, but in times of mass panic and confusion such as these, people search for guidance and structure anywhere they can find it — and he will make sure the people look to him as leader once more. if he’s gotta break a few skulls in the process, then so be it. it’s only a matter of time before he coaxes someone new to do his bidding. after all, just look around! he has so many choices, it’s almost overwhelming.

conniving and manipulative. deceitful, scheming, intelligent, and dangerously knowledgeable… i think we get the idea.

he’s a corrupt fella. powers of the dark side aside, he’s always been a dangerous guy all on his own. he loves to get inside other people’s heads, especially ones he finds particularly useful or that he can benefit from in some way. he has a bit of flair for dramatics, and he finds it all too easy to play the role of someone he’s not.

might bake a cake for the palpatine family reunion, but also might fuck around and seduce ‘em to the dark side — depends how the mood strikes him, y’know.

SO basically rosaline has been queen for about seven years, since she is now twenty-eight and the people of naboo loooooove her. she tries to get out to interact w the commonfolk as much as possible but w the war, she found it difficult to be apart from political discussions for so long

now that the war’s oVEr tho, she rly wants to focus more on herself. being queen comes w its limitations, especially personal relationships. she has no family left so she’d love to make some new friends and mayb even fall in love ( yeeT )

she’s probably the Kindest person ull ever meet, like will give anyone anything without even thinking but can also be firm w political decisions if necessary; like n o one dares to argue w her lmao

though the rules have obviously loosened now that the first order’s defeated, she still has restrictions on her personal life so its v difficult for her but she rly wants it ok

rosaline also loves art !! she likes to draw but also just browse through other artists’ work. she owns way too many paintings tbh 

tldr; rosaline is lonely as the queen of naboo and wnts to build more personal relationships but can put u in place if necessary
