it was no secret that padmé kept her schedule exceptionally busy and it had been preoccupied by politics, and the occasional rebellion necessity, more than anything else. she still considered herself to be close with aayla, but with anakin gone, luke mostly gone, and ahsoka no longer a member of the order, her ties to the jedi order were few and far between. still, she held a fondness and respect for qui-gon. two years without a sign of her husband ( sometimes she wasn’t even sure she could still call him that ) had been too long.

“it’s nice to see you again, master jinn,” she smiled politely. “i was wondering if you or any of the other jedi had gotten any sign of anakin.”
