mmmmmmmmm let’s talk about @forcetied. we met a loooooong long time ago (is this just the story of my life on this rey blog) but i was SO excited to reunite with them by total accident. i love their ben, i’ve seen their rey on the side but she’s also so great. such a sweet person and a pleasure to talk to ooc.

The match seemed to never end. 

Rey and Kylo had lost their sabers in their match, now having to fight with their hands. She knew she wouldn’t beat him this way. He was far too large to overtake, but she was surprised at his tactic of pinning her down. She was on her back, panting as she stared up at him. His large, gloved hands had hers pinned. “You have a plan in this, Ren?” She was already calculating how she could get out of this.

SHE DOESN’T MOVE from her spot against his chest, terrified that even breathing could ruin the moment. This stillness is a gift the universe rarely provides. She’s carried a heavy heart for so many years that simply BEING nearly sounds like too much to ask for. Drawing idle circles in invisible patterns on his chest, Rey hardly nods but the sentiment is there within their conjoined head space. “—————I’m not going anywhere.”

These words weren’t real. No one in their right mind would say this to him. Okay, maybe being called a swear word was normal to describe anyone in his side of the war. Hell, even if he had actually gotten the chance to go on the falcon and become a pilot instead of joining the Jedi temple, he would probably hear words that were less than stellar on a daily basis. But enough speculation. That’s in the past. 

----“Actually, I changed my mind. Stay in the Resistance. You’ll destroy them from the inside out if you keep this up”. He almost feels sorry for the opposite side if they had to deal with a drunk Rey all the time. Keyword, almost. He would had thought Leia wouldn’t encourage them to drink like this. How disappointing. Closing the force bond, he made his was through the ship, wanting to tell everyone about possibility of the Resistance’s lack of coherence.

he stops moving , stops holding out his hand as he realizes what’s happened . what will happen . she’s turning away from him - from the light .  “rey, don’t - don’t do this. you don’t - you don’t know what it’s like .” he finds himself choking on the words , throat tight / as if it’s closing itself involuntarily to trap the words in his mouth . scared to utter them out loud.  “he’s just using you. like me.”
