culture block :: a taste of mt. komorebi [completed]

:: late night (early morning?) cooking. i finally figured out what to do for the last two buildings on my second downtown fordtown lot. this lot is technically university housing, so idk if any of this is gonna work fr but it looks good LOL

this whole lot (culture block) consist of dorms, the humanities building, the art building, and two “restaurants” which are essentially just the cultural food stalls. mt. komo has its own building because it’s so many different stalls for that pack fr

:: yea so i just went ahead and made the lot a residential rental. i looked into how the university housing lot type works and i honestly don’t feel like dealing with it LMAO. so imma just weave it into the lore without actually restricting who can live in these “dorms”. once i decide which dorms will be occupied, imma spice the decor up a little for those ones.

really this lot is for when i get the university itch and i can be immersed on a “campus”, iykwim

also the market stall cap is selling me 🫩. the max is 4 that will automatically spawn depending on the mod you use, but it’s 6 if you pay to have them show up. i’d like them all to show up at once but i do have quite a few of them tbh. the idea is that maybe you’d take your sim to eat and just the ones on the floor/building you’re using are spawned (or you pay to spawn them then cheat your money back).

still, it looks good. the vibes are solid. i’m excited

the story made for them is easily one of the ones i’m most obsessed with in the save. i made donovan bc he’s a huge part of the story but ultimately he’ll be dead at the completion of willow creek 😵‍💫 . i do wanna type up family descripts too, so ill do that at some point.
