Forehead Reconstruction Surgery This young man was involved in a road traffic accident that left him with a cosmetic depression below his left eyebrow region along with residual nerve damage. This had resulted in ptosis of his left eye. Imaging studies revealed a depression over the left supraorbital rim. His left eyebrow was also lower than the right. A left upper eyelid crease incision was made to access the bony defect. This defect was reconstructed using a rib graft harvested from the patient along with an Endotine resorbable implant. His levator muscle was also shortened to lift up his left eyebrow to make it symmetrical to the right.
