Help?

Has anyone who has gone/is going for jaw surgery gone through the trouble gum problems before it starts/started? 

I’ve been ‘discharged’ from the hospital due to my gums being all red, inflamed and unable to gain control of them for more than a week without them going back to how they are. I was wondering if anyone had any home remedies that could help? I’ve tried prescription toothpastes, mouthwashes, changes to my diet. Everything that has been recommended by the dentist but there’s been no luck.

Please help, it would be greatly appreciated!
