i've been focusing a lot on non-american cinema and getting to know directors like abbas kiarostami, theo angelopoulos, zhang yimou, chantal akerman, apichatpong weerasethakul and others, and of course, learning more about iconic non-american directors such as bergman or fellini 

so now i wanna know, who are your favorite 'foreign' directors?
