- The best predictor of a future behaviour is past behaviour . In Forensics we work with evidence, that’s why we keep them. We work with patterns, we put pieces together, not only from a crime scene, but from behaviour, and that’s why we question them, why we want to understand them, to know how it makes sense in what we understand as a healthy society. Preserving evidence, understanding patterns, reading crime scenes, this is all science, to lead us to the criminal, why he/she did that, how, what is his/her life and tastes may have lead to it, what explains the cruelty and other bizarre behaviours towards victims… The same way there are people who think the earth is flat or that vaccines aren’t good, I’ve come to learn that some people are negationists about the existence of Psychopaths and toxic behaviours/disorders from others when they clearly present all the symptoms and characteristics. This is insanely frustrating, and for a long time, it was in a personal level… But I’ve been sick like this too. It is too easy, too tempting to fall for such charming personalities… We even feel lucky to have them with us. I’m glad to finally say that I’m not ill anymore. I know I’m not delusional, too emotional, too naive, too involved… Aristotle said that “we are what we repeatedly do” and I know I’ve been doing this my whole life, and I want to keep doing it and improving at it, and protecting, until the end of my days… My passion has always been to understand individuals like this, study them, and of course, give them what they deserve, as well, protect the ones they chose as victims… I can feel, deep in my bones, that this is my #GloriousPurpose ♥️ #Loki #HarleyQuinn #ForensicPsychologist #Forensic #Purpose (at London, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/CS5DYL1rXCy/?utm_medium=tumblr
