Xavier is a Homeric Poet in the Laurel Crown

I knew the laurel crown from Sylus' event would match many of Xavier's more formal attire. I come to find that it matches his Misty Invasions robe very well because both colorways include golden embellishments.

Selected lines from Xavier when you put him in the laurel crown: Xavier's lines around the laurel crown are very interestingly relevant to himself and his lore. "Is this a crown from the moon?" At first I thought he's talking about the crown's golden sheen. But since MC is often taking on 'the moon' metaphor in Xavier's story, yes sir—it is from the moon... on both counts!

"I'm a visitor from the universe, here to share cosmic secrets with you" is straight poetry, so kudos to Xav's writers. Xavier may be a pre-programmed 3D construct meant for me to anthropomorphize and feed my wallet to in this capitalistic hellscape we all currently reside in, but I think at the same time—just a little bit optimistically—in the same vein as Minecraft story mode presents it, for example—perhaps Xavier, too, is a medium through which the universe tells me that I'm loved. 😌✨

Xavier loves the hair bow accessory

I’ve bought two hair bow accessories for Xavier since they dropped in the Lunar Shop, and I just love putting him in them because they match him so well 🥰 But alongside that he always delights me with his unique dialogue for them.

In one of his lines, he is really implying that he gets attention wearing these and perhaps it’s from people who also wish they could proudly wear big beautiful hair bows 🥺🫶 Obviously it’s not something men typically wear in our society despite how good he looks in them 🥰

But seriously it seems like he holds the accessory with such reverence. Here are some of his other lines when you put bows on him:

Just Silly Xavier Things (I’m jk this is sad and includes main story spoilers)

Y’all realize Xavier’s going to disappear, right.

Like he traveled back in time to save you from your fate which means Philos can’t exist. He can’t exist.

We’re talking space-time continuum shit here. If Xavier and the backtrackers cease to exist in the future, do they disappear in the past as well?

Total erasure of existence. Isn’t it worse than death? At least the dead can be remembered by those still living.

That’s why, try as he might, Xavier ends up giving in to spend every “now” with you that he can.

There’s no future with him in it. At all.

Can we talk about the duality of Xavier and his light evol. Can we talk about how his evol can be gentle and soft, like imitating fireflies in the night, or sharp and penetrating a la his sword imagery, his shattering windows in trains, etc.

Can we talk about how that parallels Xavier as a “switch-up” persona, where he can be unassuming and kind one minute and dark and dangerous the next. Can we talk about how you can’t have light without shadow. Can we talk abo
