I feel like a lot of people do not understand the depth of the situation, because the problem is not just about valko . however the problem that the Chinese girls are angry about is the state of the game in general. Like when I say state of the game in general this is relating to like the king of Darkness myth this is relating to the treatments of sylus and Caleb, as well as the monetization practices of the company. However we also need to understand from the standpoint of women that LADS represents something incredibly special. In a gaming Market full of men Lads has constantly performed at the very top, they have outperformed, outsold every single other game that told it's female player base to go to hell eg genshin , wuwa , gacha in general. In the otome genre it says that an otome can get mainstream appeal and earn main stream money. This is no longer about liking ot disliking valko, yes his addition is too soon, yes paper games removed him instead of solving the actual complaints that started the valko hate train, yes they didn't think of just making him region exclusive. But the ccp has been looking for an excuse to carry out their misogynistic agenda on women focused media like otome, they r blaming the birth crisis on it but who gaf , the game makes a stupid amount of revenue so just closing it down for no reason makes no sense and it's a cultural product overseas so taking it down will cause huge backlash. I say don't support inflod but rather support the otome genre it self.

I won't be surprised if they delete Xavier when they discovered the lore problem was on his side. So I recommend downloading all the photos you have with Xavier before it's too late

Btw they delete Valko because the crazy Chinese players told to non players it was Valko side of the plot of the Japanese human experimentation thing, and Xavier's side, so the non players put it in Douyin that is Valko the one with the problem and they were calling CCP on them.

It is better to keep it in they delete Valko because if they know the problem is Xavier's lore they will go against him like a witch hunt and Xavier will be deleted too

I’m not one to usually write about things like this, like I have a on off relationship with LADS and I’ve only written a few dabbles on my blog but the whole situation with Valko?

Like I was genuinely excited for him after we got more promotional material on him since at first I was really unsure of him! He really seemed like what the game needed, and I know a lot of people were excited!

Now I’m really don’t know why the Chinese community was so upset but I heard that it was because of Valko’s skin color and him entering the Mc’s house? Now if that’s the issue then are we going to ignore all the content from the other love interests? Mind you we have Sylus who tried force resonating with them, Rafayel literally hired someone to stalk Mc, we have the lack consent factor in God of Annihilation in Zayne’s, I’m pretty sure one of them drugged Mc in one of the cards or something. Mind you, in one of Zayne’s cards Zayne was drunk and they had intercourse and let’s think about it! You can’t really give clear consent when drunk!

Now Caleb is really iffy since I don’t know if it’s a translation thing but Caleb is literally the Mc’s older brother (adoptive in the English story line I think) yet they don’t have a issue with that?! Plus he’s really manipulative and considering his power he can stalk the Mc!

Like we have a whole mob boss and a bunch of controversial actions made by all the boys (besides Zayne’s if we just ignore the fact he’s the Mc’s doctor and the whole power play with that) yet we have a issue with Valko? Then we can get rid of the whole game.

Now I’m definitely not going to go back to LADS, I already deleted the game from my phone. But that won’t stop me from supporting artists who made all these fanarts and writers on tumblr who write for LADS.

I would say keep writing for Valko and keep creating art for him! If Infold wanted to take him away then let’s keep him alive here! Like I’ll try writing more for Lads with my imagines and dabbles but let’s keep him alive!

Decided I'd check Twitter because I was curious, and oh boy no one's taking this well except Ig the people who caused this, so sad for anyone who was looking forward to valko, even I was interested in his character because of the trailers, it's also so depressing that they're just gonna stop releasing new love interests, like surely they can find a balance with the new ones and old ones? They're a multibillion dollar company cmon 😭
