Steven was hanging around Funland, not really having the best time, but not necessarily having the worst time, either. He was just dilly dallying around, longing to try out the roller coaster. But he’d just eaten corn dogs and cotton candy. He didn’t want to make himself sick.

He noticed there was a slightly tall, green figure nearby the rides. He couldn’t help but investigate. He’d thought it was a prop, but it hadn’t been one. After further inspection, he realized this figure was a gem.

“AAH! A gem!” he shrieked in fear, backing away. “What are you doing here?”

Pearl’s crystalline eyes fell on the sand beneath her flats, watching the grains shift under her weight. It had been a long day. No, it had been a long few months. Her eyes flickered up, watching Roses figure in the distance. Her grip on her sword loosened before it tightened once more, her feet starting to carry her once more. Breaking from her cloud of thought, she resumed following after the group. Or...what was left. So many lost gems. So many lost friends. Her head turned at hearing what she thought to be a footstep. A very light, soft one. She turned on her heel, looking around slowly.

“...Who’s there?”

“-- wait, so you’re telling me that stabbing the pumpkin isn’t how you’re suppose to carve?” with his knife jabbed straight into the pumpkin, he scowls. he didn’t just stab a pumpkin numerous times for nothing, you know.

Ianthe gave a sheepish sort of smile, shrugging a little.

“Things could be worse...it was only a wee mudcrab. It could have been something bigger. Like a wolf or an Altmer or something...”

She sighed, watching her carefully. “It really wasn’t my intention for this to happen. I’m sorry if I caused offence.”

Pink popped her head out from the box she usually hid in, watching the new gem curiously. "Hello!"
