Vesper grew up near the Ice Mines, having been found by Ola in a snowstorm not far from town. They have a large scar across their lower back from the polar bear encounter that killed her parents, but it's rarely visible; Any less than three layers out here and you'll freeze to death.
Vesper lives in the small cabin across from Ivan's shop, although you are more likely to find her from wandering; Ves spends most of her time on hunting patrols. Ola taught them the basics, and they learned the rest themself. They get most of their food from foraging, although sometimes they'll save a portion of the day's hunt for themselves. Preferring leaner meats, their favorites are chevon (goat / rams meat) and winter rabbit.
Nightfall is by far Ves' favorite weapon, in part due to its unique scope. They've tweaked it to their liking, replacing the standard red-lit glass with a proper crosshair. In particular, Vesper is grateful for the recoil and noise suppression of Nightfall, as both impact pressure and loud noises are difficult for her to handle. Ola once offered to lend her their SVD for training, but Ves had difficulty adapting to its narrow scope and high recoil.
