I guess that...until this year I was more focused on the anniversary of his death. This year is different. I feel like I finally accepted what happened even if it’s still hurt. I decided to smile thinking of him rather than keep wondering what if.

We’re so lucky to still have his voice in our heads. His voice won’t go away, ever. Another year without you and we miss you like crazy.

Happy birthday, buddy. You’ll always be in our hearts.
