In this inaugural post of the screamy music dude, i thought i would start with Forever Taken. I had the pleasure of being followed by Forever Taken on twitter and upon first listen, i was indeed taken by their talent. Their album "Till Death Do Us Part" is filled with heavy screams, catchy melodic guitars, brutal breakdowns, and a whole lot of potential. The shining highlight in the album would easily be the final track, "A New Beginning". The track starts with a beautiful hook played on a guitar, backed by a mellow drum beat. The song crescendos into an amazing song with badass screams, catchy guitars, and arguably the best use of clean vocals on the album. I have had this song on repeat since my first listen and i cannot get enough! I will be keeping a close eye on this band as they hopefully continue to produce music as amazing as this album and i look forward to seeing how they progress and grow in the years to come.
