So much has happened, i don't know where to start, wow! Okay, I love camp! I am having the time of my life! It's hard, it's tiring, it's strenuous, even though my photos don't show it. This last week has produced a roller coaster of events and emotions. We had a strawberries and icecream dinner which is an alumni celebration whereby all the new councillor and staff have the opportunity to introduce themselves to the past staff, important and influential people that were involved at camp. It was very touching and of course I ended in tears with a bowl of icecream in my hand! My new friends have been a blessing though. We have had endless fun at cheap cheap oppshops buying Ralph Lauren outfits for no more than $4. And venturing to the laundromat to wash the stinky, grubby clothes that we live in. To kill the time we put ali in a dryer and ran around in trolleys, camp has driven us all crazy and we still have 9 weeks left. Our friend Ali has invited us back into her home for the weekend and we couldn't be happier! We've had delicious home cooked meals and a comfy three person bed to share. Her family are the most welcoming and loving people that I have met so far! Updates are going to get a little bit harder for the month or so, as I have weekly kids coming Sunday to Saturday with cycles starting again the following Sunday. But I will try to be back on soon. America is all and more than expected!
