#frontendfriday This nose knows where to go. From a day looking for buffalo at Theodore Roosevelt National Park. We did the north entrance and then found a great campground a few minutes south which was $6 a night. Totally recommend it! PSA we found a cool van thing! Often it’s the little things that make a big difference when you live in a tiny home. Been looking for a good van mirror for a while and found @tooletries_hq It sticks right to the stainless and we can move it to the inside/outside as needed. They have a bunch of things for keeping the bathroom tidy and we’re totally digging them! Bruce taking it all in. Camped outside Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Bruce started life as a 2500 2WD Mercedes Sprinter Cargo Van. Now he has the first ever all American built 4x4 solid axle swap giving him 8.5 total inches of lift custom tuned for 37 inch tires. He has 4.5 inches of extra track on each side. Let’s talk about communication! No we’re not offering relationship counselling... we’re talking radios! Do you have one? Have you thought about getting one? We have @ruggedradios RM60 and RM45 on board. Honestly you don’t need two radios we just wanted to test out both to see which worked better for us. The RM60 is a VHF radio and the RM45 is UHF. We have the units hard wired into the rig and we have a pack of hand helds which we can give to friends when we drive in a caravan. It’s great to be able to chat and laugh as we drive, to let people know if somebody needs to stop and we can direct each other on the trails. Bruce on the loose! We’ve been having lots of fun learning to fly this drone 🤓 We picked up the @djiglobal mini with the fly more pack (preparing for a few crashes) we’ve only crashed once and I (Kate) managed time snip the tip of my finger with a propeller because I’m just that clumsy.
