“Yato?” Why was it so hard to keep track of a god? Even more so, how hard was it to keep track of Yato? It was rare she lost track of him, especially since she’d gotten pregnant, but...

“Yaaato-” The shrine wasn’t that big. A call to Daikoku had said he wasn’t over there, and she knew Yukine was at the library. He wasn’t outside, either... So where could he possibly have gone for the last 24 hours? And why was it when she’d bought a new crystal black cat for their trinket shelf she wqas so excited to show him? “...Did he go visit the neighbors down the road...?”

      兆麻 🌸-- “Sera-san, I hope I haven’t come at a bad time.” Freshly finished with a tourist shift at one of Bishamon’s busier shrines, Kazuma had decided to drop by and visit Sera before he returned home. Naturally, he came bearing gifts in the form of a package of tea and a few baked goods as snacks.

     But as the Shinki ducked inside, he paused and blinked, surprised to find not only Sera present. “Ah, Yato! I didn’t expect to see you here!” An odd thing to say, when it was Yato’s shrine. Then again, until now, Kazuma had somehow managed to avoid bumping into the deity on his visits with Sera, so he found himself now caught offguard to find Yato in residence.

     Belatedly, he dipped his head in apology. “Sorry, I must be interrupting! I can come back another time!”

“A bear.” Right, because she wanted to be called something that big – Bears were cute, she'd give him that, but honestly? She'd even give him the fact it was a step down from beached whale! “Yato... Bears might be cute but I don't want to be something so big-!” Or something that hibernated after eating as much as she'd been-!

Since Sera told Sin on Valentine's she's pregnant, I felt like doing this one last night. She's not quite that far along yet, but how to draw small stomachs when you can't draw crap to begin with? XD Consider this a late Valentine's Day art <333

Sera headcanons - Thunderstorm fear

Sera isn't too keen on admitting this one without being caught in or around one, and firmly believes it to be a childish fear to have. However, it's born from her teen years; while camping out, as per her norm, an overnight storm forced her into a tree for protection against the elements. When the thunder and lightning began, a nearby traveler had the came idea and climbed a tree not far from her own... But he wasn't so lucky. Sera watched lightning strike him and his tree, killing him before setting the small forest ablaze and forcing her to run for her life.

Ever since, she'd been convinced a storm is going to destroy or kill someone near her, though she truly and honestly does know better, though it doesn't stop her from seeing it happen in her mind. As a result, it manifests in one of several ways during a storm: If alone, she'll curl up in a corner and scream, crawl under the bed to hide, even wrap herself up in a loved one's clothes (i.e. Sin's robes, Yato's jacket, etc) if there's something nearby for comfort, and remain as such until it passes.

If with a friend (Yukine, Sharrkan, etc), she'll curl up with them and panic, wanting them to be safe and to protect them, but being unable to move.

And if with a loved one(/lover; Sin, Yato-) she'll go all out, wanting nothing more than to be as close as possible to them, and being unable to achieve quite the level she needs. She'll even go so far as to crawl underneath their clothing to find that closeness, and won't calm down until they've successfully distracted her, be it by physical means or simply letting her listen to their heartbeat to drown out the storm.

Whatever happens during, afterwards she's thoroughly embarrassed, and tries to brush it off like nothing happened. So far, only one has made any progress in helping her conquer her fear (Sin)... And there's still a long ways to go.
