I just want you to know that ever since I read forgetmenot a few weeks ago "ford is... unavailable. Leave a message at the beep! Beeeeeeep" has been living in my head rent free. I think about it at least three times a day, I've reread the comics four times for that line alone. I love that line so much its so funny to me and I can't stop thinking about it

For the forget me not AU does Stan ever have to do the 'drop it, drop it right now' kind of thing with buck? But instead of 'drop it' its 'you turn them back right this instinct' or something similar

Would Ford ever see something like that when he gets back? What would you say his reaction would be?

Keep in mind I'm not sticking too close to canon for this answer. I don't like giving spoilers, so anything pertaining to the future is iffy at best. (Lying is fun!)

Assuming that Stan ever does find out that Buck did something 'naughty' - yeah he absolutely would. Buck would listen to him - pout maybe, if he doesn't think what he did was bad, but a deal is a deal!

And in the happy future where Ford returns, he would be Bucks' biggest tattletale.

F: "Stanley, Bill-" S: "Buck." F: "...BUCK... is raising the dead again and putting them to work around the shack." S: "..." F: "...That's a bad thing, Stanley." S: "...Well it's free la-" F: "STANLEY."

In the forget me not AU, does Stan need glasses at this point in time(maybe he couldn't afford them or is in denial about needing them)? Do you think he would just try and use Fords despite it probably not being the right prescription? Or go and (try to) buy his own?

How likely would Buck freak out if Stanley did need to go see an eye doctor? would he just (panic)magic Stans eyes better? Or is it more likey there is gonna be a mysterious 'accident' conveniently happen to the towns optometrist?

Stan's vision isn't perfect but he's gone so long with blurry vision, hasn't found a need for glasses (yet). Now that he's reading more and there's a greater importance placed on noticing details while trying to rebuild the portal, he would eventually resort to glasses but treat them like readers rather than keep them on like a mask.

Buck wouldn't have a negitive reaction if Stan went and saw an eye doctor. (If that doctor somehow harms him, however - yikes) As for medically magicing Stans eyes to be BETTER... That's certainly a thought! (I've been playing with the idea of Buck magicing Stan back his kidney lmao so a little tweak to his eye vision wouldn't be a streach)

This is how Buck sees the world, by the way.

Just imagine these two squinting and tilting their heads like confused dogs at a chalkboard as Fiddleford desperately tries to explain the next steps in the repairs.
