The dogs really enjoyed running around the wonderfully flat and grassy top of this ridge. About 800m elevation gain to gain the ridge and then this huge flat expanse with great views at the top.

Went on a winter hike up Forgetmenot Ridge, made possible by the unusual lack of snow for this time of year! Extremely windy at the top but the dogs didn’t mind in the slightest.
When your poses are wildly unoriginal.

On Friday Grace, Warren and I left Calgary at 7:00am and headed about an our south of Calgary just past Bragg Creek to Kananaskis Country. We were headed to hike ForgetMeNot Ridge.
As were arrived Grace pointed out the mountain we would be hiking. It looked like it was a long ways away and crazy high. It would definitely be a kind of hike I had never done before.
