Forgive and Forget
Recently I watched ‘Dear Mrs. Kennedy’ from Netflix original series ‘The Crown’, after watching the episode I thought, how the queen regretted not saying her bit to late Mrs. Kennedy.
I am talking about forgiveness f you hadn’t already guessed. Forgiveness is such a mindful concept. I am here to rightly exploit the word and tell you about my experiences with it. Firstly, I am writing this article in class. Irrelevant. Forgiveness does not mean that letting people exploit you whilst you continuously and robustly forgive them. So, what does it mean? Well for me it means that you find yourself good enough to let the people go from your lives who once hurt you badly. But here’s the catch you should give it much needed consideration before you decide to forgive anyone and everyone. Like can you forgive the bully who once bullied you in front of everyone? I can’t but that does not say that I am a bad person, it simply means that I need a little more time to come to terms with the grief. Now the next thing should you forgive the person who hurt you to a grave extent and take a house by the sea with them. Certainly not. Now, do you let them know? Not Necessarily, No. If you think it is important that you let them know how much you wished that they were dead then you are wrong. This defeats the whole purpose of forgiving them in the first place. You can collect all your thoughts and write them down and then give the person a note. If you just want it all to go away then don’t. If you think you will slaughter the person if he comes to you then don’t do that either it’s no good. I want to let you know that I have just forgave 1/9 people who I should forgive. But, no I won’t not yet. So, just wait it out and try not to indulge in revenge.
Thank you and good luck with your forgive and forget journey.
