Forgotten Papyrus upon meeting Ink for the first time:
I'm gonna stick to the idea that Ink is the only one who doesn't have issues with forgetting him cause I think that's hillarious given Inks memory issues and the fact that Ink would annoy the heck out of him (or they could be buds who knows lol)
What is Overlay about?? What are the other boss monsters up to in it? :0
This Papyrus is an Outcode (like Ink, Error, and Fresh) so he's not attached to his specific au that he originally was from. He's a Papyrus that was forgotten hence the name 'Forgotten Papyrus' which I came up with by thinking of when you check him in the No Mercy route it says he's forgettable.
I'm still working on the details of HOW he was forgotten tho lol
I picked the name Overlay cause I had the idea of his ability being to see both everything that has happened and not actually happened cause of resets over the top of the current happenings in Au's that he visits but everything not currently kinda like a extra layers. It’s a pain for him cause he has to concentrate so it’s not all jumbled uvu;
There’s more I’m thinking of but like I said, I’m still figuring him out so his ability’s might change of the course of his creation like might not keep the name Overlay cause I’m not entirely sure it really fits him? I’m open to any suggestions for names if you guys have any tho!
The one thing I AM certain of is that he still has issues of being forgotten by those who do meet him if he doesn’t visit often enough. After a few times of that happening he’s developed some ways to combat this, such as keeping a journal of places that has how long it’s been and giving them friendship bracelets!
People forgetting him added to the fact that he’s so hard to notice means he is very lonely so if you meet him you gotta try your best to remember ok!
Side question but uhhh, how would you feel about peeps selfshipping with Overlay!Paps? (Just wanted to ask cause OFC my brain is ALRREADY JUMPING THE GUNBFJJFJF)
