1) it's been a year and your Jack post is still going on. I find that hilarious. 2) what's it like being an art major?
I try to forget about that post, but it keeps coming back and I can't win OTL
anyways...
Being an art major is fun, entertaining, stressful, confusing, and also rewarding. You have to really be dedicated to to program if you want to do well though. I tell so many people not to be art majors unless they really believe they can handle it.
Studio art classes (here, at least) go for 2.5hrs twice a week, and you're expected to spend a minimum of 5-10hrs on homework outside of class. And it doesn't seem as if the teachers take into account that most students have more than one studio class as well as a variety of other classes that give out homework too.
I could probably write a whole book, but this is really long already afdkasjlf
TLDR; The classes are long, the homework takes forever, and the teachers can either make it a walk in the park or a slow drag through hell.
