shoves this into the face of @forgottenluck
@forgottenluck sent ❛ are you bleeding? ❜
Shit. He hadn't even realized. Slowly, he looks down at his person to see the blood pouring out of the gash wound on his side. He blinks at it, he hadn't even felt it before now, but now that he sees it? It hurts and he can feel the dizziness hitting him from the blood loss he's experiencing.
"Hey.....would you look at that. Guess I am." Shit, he's gotta get this stitched up before he bleeds out here.

All... Gods...? Those words implied that he believed there to be more than one, which directly went against everything she'd been taught while in her parents' home. For a fleeting moment, she thought about moving away from him again and leaving it at that, but there was too much hanging in the balance. Finding someone that was willing to talk about Faith with her, instead of telling her what she already knew and talking down to her like a child, he appeared to be willing to communicate to the best of his ability.
Everything he said after that made sense. Everything. From the lack of a presence to the excess that resided within modern churches. Rachel wondered if he'd be willing to have a talk with Father Gray and better explain her side of the argument, but doubted there was even a way to contact him now that the building had burnt down. Wherever he had gone, if he had even survived, was entirely out of her control and knowledge.
She swore she could feel the effects of that hallucination all over again; everything she'd been put through on B2 before she'd been released from his games coming back to haunt her yet again. An unwelcome tremor ran through her body and left her shivering. Yet she remained seated where she was, desperate to find the answers she'd gone looking for when that whole mess had started. He believed... but how? Rachel pulled in a deep breath, gathering the air and the courage needed to speak.
"How can you still believe?" She asked, her voice weak and soft, but no less prying. "With everything you just said about there being an absent God in churches here... How have you not decided against thinking that He is even here at all?" And how hadn't He been replaced by something more tangible and responsive, like she had done to Him with Zack?
"Do you know what happens to people who don't believe?" Rachel added, albeit quieter than she had been before. "After everything you've said, is there any chance that you think the Gods--" had she just acknowledged there being more than one, herself? She couldn't tell what was the right thing to believe anymore. "Any of them. Do you think they could ever forgive someone that turned their back on them? Do you think they still deserve to be happy in the afterlife?"
@forgottenluck ;; PLOTTED STARTER : MALON .
" Sir, y'really shouldn't be out here at this hour ! " And neither should SHE, but that was neither here nor there. " The DARK KING and his minions are about to do their patrol, and lemme tell ya, you do NOT wanna be out 'n about at that time. " Her eyes, pleading, staying locked upon him, praying to the goddesses he would take her SERIOUSLY.
" If ya need shelter for the evening, won't ya come on over to the farm ? Least until day breaks ? "
AS THE FESTIVAL winds to its final conclusion, you’re bestowed with several gifts from the grateful occupants of Spring Rise, ranging from currency of your own world to foods and trinkets, toys, kites, lavish clothing and even brand new weapons to some few.
“Thank you for saving the festival, and enjoying our company,” the apparant leader of the village thanks you personally, shaking your hand as you’re lavished with gift after gift from the locals. “If you choose to leave now, simply follow the Blissful Trail out and you’ll find your way home.”
You oblige, thanking the village for their hospitality and invitation to the festival. Carrying your gifts, you make your way out with your new friends down the path decorated with fallen cherry blossom petals. One last viewing of the beautiful pink trees, and when you reach the end, you turn to get one last look at the strange yet comforting village.
A small creature had followed you out, smiling cheerfully—almost bidding you farewell. When you blink, it’s gone but the feeling of being watched doesn’t leave. Still, you’re not creeped out. Instead, you’re… comforted. You turned to continue leaving, and when you do, you’re suddenly standing in front of—your home. Whether it’s with the people you were with before the festival, or your physical hometown—the mysterious village of Spring Rise is out of sight, you can’t even feel its presence anymore.
But you know, it will return when it’s time for the next festival…
Until then… you’re satisfied.

"You honestly think I will... just disappear someday, when nobody is remembering me any longer?", he asked with a strained voice. This thought did never occur to him somehow - he felt a shivering bleakness creeping through his innermost.
Kohaku River was gone. And Kohaku had been the god of it. The humans might still remember it... but for how long would they? He swallowed and the gaze of his green-grey eyes wandered into the distance. Disappearing. What would that feel like?
