I think the thing that bothers me most about people who idolize serial killers is that people are feeding into a tragic incident and giving the killers what they want. its frankly disgusting because they do not deserve the notoriety and fame. they do not deserve to have their name in history books. they deserve to be forgotten and erased throughout time.
instead, it's better to focus on the first responders, the victims, and those who gave their lives to help people in need. I dont give two shits about the Columbine shooters, failed pornstar turned animal abuser and murderer, or anybody else. I care about Peter Wang, a 14 year old boy who died to hold the door open so people can escape from the Parkland shooter. I care about the father who attempted the throw an ATM and the atrocious monster that was the New Zealand shooter.
let monsters be forgotten in history, but never ever forget the event because we must learn and we must be better as society to make sure these things never happen again
