Meet Dee. She’s been a huge contributor to F O R M A L O G I C in the last couple months, especially on social media. So I’m lifting the veil here a little to tell you more about her. Follow her on twitter.

Where are you from? 

South Florida 

 What do you do for a living? 

I work at an advertising agency where I lead our social practice and manage our in-house social team. I like connecting people to awesome experiences. 

What type of music are you into? 

Day-to-day it’s a mix of shoegaze, hip-hop/rap, French pop, electronic, and a mix of indie stuff. Always the Beatles, Sonic Youth, Miami Horror, Passion Pit, and some Drake. Truly, I appreciate all kinds of music and am thankful for the peeps that introduce me to new stuff. 

What are some of the music blogs you follow? 

The Fader, Dancing Astronaut, Hype Machine 

What’s the best live show you’ve ever seen? 

Tough! Split between Little Dragon + Kendrick Lamar in Portland and Matt & Kim + NAS in Detroit. 

What do you think we should do that would make us even more future™ than we already are?

We need to play a set in space, duh. 

 If you were an electronic musician, what would your stage name be? 

DJ D$… Dolla, dolla bills, yo.
