Jean's awakened form is interesting. Butterflies transform from caterpillars to butterflies. Since the awakened form is influenced by the warriors perception of their abilities or what they value (speed: hysteria/clare legs), I wonder if Jean's awakened form is a result of her conversation with Riful. Or her own perception. Butterflies evolve from caterpillars, they look different but butterflies come from caterpillars forms. It could also be a symbol of freedom. Jean has immense self control. She was able to suppress her yoki just before awakening.
This form could be a symbol of both freedom and evolution.
