Alex stood in front of the full body mirror, her hands running down the front of her dress that was black with red, red that was almost as dark as the blood that would most likely be spilled at the ball that was happening later tonight. She was ready for it, and couldn't wait for it to happen seeing as this was a mission she was not going to pass down any time soon. And she most certainly wasn't going to let down the ones that were wanting her to do this either. Just not something she would do. With a small sigh, she turned around and grabbed the mask she would be wearing and slipped it on just to see how it all looked together. It was a Royal Masquerade ball that was supposed to be some sort of peace offering to everyone that hated the king. Like that would ever work out. But Alex would be lying if she said she never wanted to go to one of those types of balls even if it was for this reason.
After making sure everything looked perfect on her and she had her knife in a very easily reachable place for her but was hidden towards others, she made her way out of her home and climbed onto the horse she would be riding to the ball. She fixed herself on her side saddle before taking off to the place where the ball would be held. In a way she was nervous, nervous that her plan she had been going over and over in her head was going to fail but at the same time she was almost certain that wouldn't be the case. What she had to do was get there, locate the king, keep an eye on him, maybe dance with him and get him alone and then get it all over with and get out of there as fast as possible before any of them realize it was her. But she was also try to do it without making so much blood spilled. Meaning, only his blood and no one else's. Alex glanced around as she arrived and let the person that was taking care of people's horses take care of her's but she made sure to let him know not to let anything happen to her horse before making her way into the castle, her blue eyes taking in everything and she finally got to the ball room, while following everyone that was making their way in the same direction. As soon as she was in that room, that was when her mission began.
