☣ : Character my muse respects greatly

Juliette ( formez-vos-bataillons) has the utmost of Cécile’s respect despite the teasing words she deals her. It is clear that she respects her far more than her male counterpart for reasons she cannot put a finger on. The woman carries herself with such grace and dignity even through the blows history dealt her and it fills her heart with admiration. Juliette is witty, she is personable, she is strong yet maternal: she is the ultimate lady.

She holds herself to her full height plus whatever her shoes of the day grant her in a steady manner. Although, she does shift her weight from one leg to another when standing still for a period of time. As for her hands they rest anywhere from on her purse to her hips to her sides or behind her back.

♞ runs

Cécile doesn’t exactly make a habit of running. Power walking, yes but outright running is a very rare event. Due to the length of her legs, her stride is very short but not unsteady. Years of dance grant her a certain grace to counterbalance the lack of outstanding speed. Her endurance is not much to write home about either but it isn’t too terrible considering.

Sometimes....

...sayings aren't always true.

Since his absence he couldn't say his heart has necessarily grown fonder of Juliette. Has he thought about her more? Of course, but there hasn't been any sort of longing or pining really. He's resumed his routine, double time. He put his head down and worked. When he finally picked his head back up it was August and he finally had a weekend.

But now he had no more excuses he could tell himself for not talking to her nor seeing her, no more reasoning to rationalize it away. Besides, he did want to see her, that was undeniable. But maybe he was a bit nervous as well which spoke volumes to his usually self-assured nature. 

He left a text instead. 

I have time this weekend. Come by if you're free.

He must have rewrote the simple sentences thrice over but he was satisfied enough with it to send it and promptly toss his cell phone away. No, he wasn't one to run from things but he did what he set out to do and that was that. 

Besides, he could maybe wind down in his garage before attempting to actually call her should she not have texted by then.
