Character in general: (astrangesadness) HOT A WHAT no okay sorry Midna's probably ... yeah probably my favorite Zelda companion not gonna lie. Her dynamic is awesome and alright sorry but really have you seen her full form (formidablereader) A dork with glasses who can't talk to people coherently unless they're aggressively geeking? Yeah I have a special connection to Shad. Sometimes I forget that backstory information like what her parents were like and Dethra's existence aren't actual game canon. 14. Your muse in an ugly holiday sweater

Link opened his mouth, let it hang there for a moment or two, then closed it again the instant the Hyrulean looked back over at him. Castle Town clothing had always struck him as … different from what he was accustomed to, but he’d grown to appreciate it over time.

This … well, this was a horse of an entirely different color.

The vaguely coat-shaped bundle of red and green wool obscured just about all of Shad’s torso, every inch dotted with tiny candle emblems with the occasional red ribbon sewn in between the yarn.

This time Link wasn’t quick enough in correcting his staring. “It’s for Midwinter,” Shad explained. The hesitance in his voice implied he already knew which answer he expected, but he asked anyways. “What do you think?”

The was a moment or two of silence as Link gave the garment one more examination, and suddenly he couldn’t keep a smile from his face. “I like it,” he replied, realizing that he meant it. “It has a charm.”

5. Earlobe Kiss

Link felt Shad’s hands push him back against the pillow—and away from the researcher’s neck—with the patience of one guiding away an overexcited hound. That part was familiar—what the swordsman didn’t expect was what followed.

Shad’s lips started at his cheek, but didn’t stay there. Link had started to tense as soon as they reached the edge of his jaw. By the time Shad’s mouth found his ear, he was practically squirming.

((Ilia does not handle losses very well, especially deaths. She tends to mourn over the deaths of others for a long period of time. Of course, when she stops, she still gets quite depressed every time somebody mentions said person / people, and it takes her a few months or so to move on.))

((Ah yes, another love headcanon. Although she doesn’t want to admit it, a person’s appearance has quite an impact on her tastes, too. Yes, she looks for qualities like personalities and attitudes to specific situations, but if you want to catch her attention, you don’t have to look super hot, or anything, you just have to suit her tastes.))

((Although she does occasionally follow a few fashion trends when they pop up, she’s usually the one who starts them, you know?))
