We constructed these helical flights as part of the refurbishment on the “listed building” Felix hall, Kelveden. A design and build, constructed to suit the old buildings various “nooks and crannies” and out of square walls. Practicing breaking down poses and movement into their most basic shapes, featuring the “dominant sided triangle” I learned about from a bunch of Ethan Becker ‘s videos on YouTube. This was a super interesting exercise in how to build form. (obv using these fantastic drawings of Elsa by Jin Kim, property of Disney)
