Once and for All
“In a perfect wedding- or world- you wanted the best possible beginning. Start in a high note and, no matter what song follows, chances are just better that it will be music to your ears.”
I randomly found this book in my local library and I was looking for an easy breezy book to read to get out of my recent book funk.
I am so glad I did get this book, I did the audio book version of this since again I do have a small child and a long commute and so audio books are my go to recently.
This book is about a girl named louna who is almost 18 and is about to graduate high school and start college. she works with her mom and her god father William who are popular wedding planners.
Louna is cynical since she lost the love of he life due to a school shooting. She then meets Ambrose who is the brother of the bride that her mother is planning her wedding for. This wedding is very important and is the highlight of the wedding season. Ambrose’s sister pays Louna’s mom a tidy sum for her to employ her brother to keep him out of her hair.
The books goes back and fourth in time between her first epic love of her life Ethan and to the present. I felt bad for Louna who thought she only deserved one epic love and would compare everything to her relationship to Ethan. This book got me pretty invested and I enjoyed this light and fluffy novel.
I would give this 4/out of 5 stars
