I feel lost In wonder. The pitter patter my feet makes. The rustling sounds of the trees. I feel like I'm in wonderland. The Sun shines through the holes of the leaves And everywhere I turn Life seems to be at ease. I feel lost I feel in wonder A feeling I don't want to let fleet away A feeling I don't ever want to forget. But when greed, lust and envy corrupt every mind. This home of mine Is destroyed Demolished. Its lost, and I can't find it. The soft feeling of the soil my feet once touched The wondrous breeze my ears used to know Light that shined through those holes Will never be found again I'm lost in this modern period. I'm left to wonder where my home went. I had forgotten what it felt like to be apart of her. I had let those feelings fleet away.
