Okay so I haven’t seen any posts about this so I thought I’ll make one myself then!

We’ve had a very VERY dry summer this year and it hasn’t been this dry and warm in Sweden for over 20 years. Now we have a lot of Forrest fires and countries in the EU are helping us! These 44 fire trucks and fire cars are arriving from Polen along with 139 firefighters. And it’s just a very emotional video where you can see Swedish firefighters standing on a bridge welcoming and showing their appreciation for the polish firemen (who are helping the Swedish people not the government which I can respect, they’re helping even if they don’t like our government and that’s amazing) because we can’t send all of our firemen to the fires because they have to stay in their own cities if there would be any fires starting there.

I just want to say thank you to everyone that helps. I know that France and other countries has helped with water bearing helicopters and more firemen are on their way from different parts of Europe including Germany and Denmark who has already helped!

I saw a documentary on Apple TV last night about the incredible threat of fires in California. It’s called Rebuilding Paradise. Gross mismanagement by California legislators have completely fucked up the state! The small towns/city councils allow 5-10,000 or more home to be built in these mountain valleys surrounded by forests which were replanted by loggers. They put so many trees in place of what they cut down the forest ground is loaded with sticks twigs and pine needles (fuel for fires) that’s so dry all it needs is the least spark and poof! Then the fire spreads because any wind will push it like nitric oxide was applied! The land never had such bounty of kindling! It’s made superfires that can’t be stopped! There’s not enough money in the world to even fight it! Btw the native Indians knew how to manage the forests by doing controlled burns. The knowledge has been lost that took a thousand years to acquire! Paradise is but one of HUNDREDS of towns throughout California that’s going to burn and they have little to no idea how to stop it! They’re states finished and now we can watch the slow decay happening in real time just like Detroit, but on a state wide level!
