Comments Replies! :)
Hope you guys are having a great Friday! I am so ready for the weekend! Work was pretty rough this week! Anyway, here's some comments from various posts that I wanted to give people a response or answer too!
freethepoets replied to your quote post: What is this from?
The quote in question was from Edgar Allan Poe, and you can find the citation info and more about where it's from HERE!
calidescopeheart replied to quoted-books: What does this mean?
So this question regards the quote I posted from Gone Girl last week sometime. It can be found HERE. That is one of the books I am reading right now, and when I read that line, it struck home with me. My parents are happily married and wonderfully in love and the quote reminded that although my parent's marriage is definitely not broken, it did set very high expectations for my own dating life and living up to the example that they provided for me. I think that's what Amy is talking about with this quote as well.
forsythiasuspensa replied to your text post: For ghost stories, Simone St. James has historical romances that are always based around a ghost plot.
Thanks for the rec and for providing the link to Goodreads (can be found HERE). I will definitely be looking more into those in the future myself!
arthnoldpendragon replied to quoted-books:code name verity made me cry for about an hour wow i forgot that book existed
It really is heartbreaking, and it got to me way more than I thought it was going to going in! Has anyone read the sequel to it?
shelfconsciouskatie replied to your photo post: Far From You by Tess Sharpe is a great one with a bisexual MC. I read it yesterday and couldn't put it down.
Thank you! I will have to add this to my list and read it soon! Appreciate the rec!
raissakiara replied to your photo post: how do you get your post to look like this? and to be able to have people respond
I created a template for the photo part with Pages on my mac. Then I screenshot the picture and crop it to fit in here. I think you can set it where people can comment in the settings if it doesn't do that automatically! Let me know if this didn't help, and I can be more specific!
Thanks again for following! My blog turned one yesterday according to Tumblr and every second of that has been a blast! Hope you guys all have a truly wonderful weekend!
