6. Hopian. Literally 0 lines but that's better than being a BITCH (also gets a pity vote because Lief was just fully going to leave him sleeping forever before he figured out the Hira thing??? I feel like we don't talk about that enough???????)

5. Joyeu. Kind of an icon for revealing the whole "two sides to every story" plot twist about those Capricon dickheads (and like 1 page after you think you're finally done with DQ's plot twists, too). Thought she was a guy until literally yesterday when I randomly saw her called "she" on the wiki though

4. Fidelis. Good dude. Ate some finger-eaters. Hometown advantage of being from Del. Also has an advantage of showing up to be nice and impressive and ominous a whole series early, good for him.

3. Second place is a close race, OK, it's a very close race between the ladies with the similar names, but I am gonna give third place to Fortuna. Forget chaos goblin it's all about the chaos dragon babyyyyy I love her so much she's here for a good time not a long time

2. Forta. SPARKLY BABY DRAGON I DON'T CARE IF SHE'S TOO YOUNG TO HAVE A PERSONALITY HER PERSONALITY IS BABY

What can I even say about him?? That he's my favorite character in the whole series besides Lief? That he regularly drops iconic quotes like "only fools refuse to see the faults in those they love" which has been etched in my brain for the last 20 years? That he spends 10 days getting gradually crushed to death and still manages to recover enough to get shit done? That him staying in Diamond territory to raise Forta is the DRAGON EQUIVALENT OF ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR TROPES IN MODERN MEDIA, GRUMPY OLD MAN PSEUDO-ADOPTS PLUCKY GIRL? That he's SPARKLY AND PURPLE????

Ranking the last Deltoran dragons

Honora(Emerald dragon)

Honestly the worst dragon. How do you attack a dragon that entered your territory(for a good reason might I add) just to turn around and do the exact same thing(without a valid reason this time) and call yourself the dragon of honor. What a hypocrite.

Hopian(Opal dragon)

There isn't much to this dragon to be honest. It had no lines and didn't do anything except in the final battle. The only reason it isn't last is because have no personality is better than being a hypocritical asshole like Honora.

Forta(Diamond dragon)

Not much to say about this dragon. Its scenes in Isle of the Dead were a bit cute but it doesn't really have much of a personality either.

Fidelis(Topaz dragon)

Cool dragon. I don't have any problems with it. I won't say that I have any strong feelings(negative or positive). It's just there. I can't say much about it.

Joyeu(Ruby dragon)

I actually really like this dragon. It's obviously not my favourite but it's still good. I particularly like the fact that it was willing to make amends with Lindal and the people of Broome.

Fortuna(Lapis Lazuli dragon)

I have nothing but love for this dragon. It's honestly so iconic. From offering to off Zerry for stealing the belt to mocking Honora with it's true name. The only reason I put it at number 2 was because it broke its oath to Doran(at least it had a valid reason)

Veritas(Amethyst dragon)

Point out one flaw in this dragon. Go ahead. You can't, it's perfect. There is absolutely nothing bad in this dragon. I love this dragon more than life. It was willing to stay in foreign territory while being weak to train the last dragon of that land instead of going home and resting. It is the only dragon that spoke good of any other dragon species. It also trusted Lief enough to give him its true name. I love it so much

Consider: Veritas probably convinces Forta that Lief isn't actually her mother just enough that she's not depressed or anything when he goes away, but ANYTIME he visits, Veritas just throws the metaphorical towel in immediately because little Forta is going to be following Lief around from the minute he steps into diamond territory 'til the minute he leaves it, and no one has the heart to stop her or to tell her NOT to try and get cuddles every time he's stationary for more than 2 seconds.
