me, looking back at all the angst drenched character’s i’ve written in the past 7 years i’ve been on this hellsite ---- I love angsty characters lmao. I had actually decided on writing someone else but told myself not to make a blog until i’d watched the anime ( i saw hero/es risin/g before anything else lmao ), and as soon as this boY CAME ON SCREEN I JUST KNEW I HAD TO WRITE HIM. i’ve actually never ever written someone so quiet and I struggle with it a lot??? my muses usually never shut up / love attention so it was a change I think I needed!! this fandom was a new fandom after a 5 month long tumblr hiatus, so I think I just wanted to write a character i’ve never written before, and shouto really fit that lmao. it was difficult to find his headspace at first, but I could tell he was a very complex, rich character and that just???? interests me so much. I like peeling back layers of characters and seeing how they work and unpacking that, and I knew I could really do that with shouto. now I just --- wow I love him so much!!
