REPORT FROM THE VOICE OF ELYSIUM.

the last blare of the fortitude's whistle mirrors the enthusiastic hurrah of those who still remain on the grounds, as the heroes end the festivities of fortitude day. the final ceremony of the night was led by the protectors themselves, dressed in their costumes and donning their masks, in a bold show of solidarity, which has lived in each member for the last decade…

" … and though we celebrate over a decade of peace among our fine city, this doesn't mean we are forgetting the truth of why we are here, why we're in our costumes, and why are we celebrating this special occasion. " agetor says, his voice booming through the crowd despite not using a microphone. " over twenty years ago, another hero died on this very day, and on this very mountain. he was the best among all of us, and his death shook all of us to the core, nearly ending the team… "

" … but with new heroes on the rise, taught by the best from the generation before them, we are confident that we will not tarnish the name established by captain fortitude: hope, resilience, and justice. " he continued. " we will do our best to uphold these values and keep elysium city safe. but we also ask for your help… because we can't do this without you. "

and when the speech ended with a roaring applause, solaris sealed it with a light show against the clear night sky that can be seen three cities away. ten years of relative peace… will it always be like this? especially now that the seasons are turning, and winds carry with them the cold of winter days. shops in elysium city are now readying for the holidays, and everyone is expected to take a reprieve and enjoy until the coming of the new year.

but even though that is a good sentiment to have, rumors among the cracks of elysium city report of a stir in the underground. there will be a new era for them as well, they say, the return of the times when they are kings… spearheaded by someone who claims to be worthy of the mind melder's previous throne. the protectors would tell you that they will protect you with all their hearts. and they will keep the peace they've been enjoying for the last decade.

and to that we say good luck, heroes! and enjoy the holidays.
