As we close out our 3rd annual #1619AncestorsWeek, we present to you "Voices of Freedom". A theater play that took us from 1619, 1865, and 1964, then ended with US... The present voices of freedom, the #BLM757 era 2016-present. It was an honor to participate in such a meaningful event at historic #FortMonroe where the first Africans were brought in 1619, in front of a packed theatre. With the attack @glennyoungkin and other elected officials are attempting to put on #BlackHistory, we will continue to navigate around their efforts to preserve TRUE history. Our ancestors had to crawl so we may walk, and we will FOREVER be gratefully honoring them.
