この７年、健康診断を受けていない。会社員じゃなくなったから機会がないのと、全然必要を感じないからだ。 カネに困ってあれこれ収入の途を探すうち、薬品の治験というのに行き遭った。昔は人体実験という通称で、食うに困ったライターがよくやっていたバイトだが、今はもっとソフトでライトなものになっているらしい。 で、一応登録してみたものの、全然条件の合う案件が出てこない。肝機能も腎機能もコレステロール値も問題がないから当たり前の話なんだろう。問題があるとすればハゲと腰痛だが、ハゲ薬の治験も条件が合わないと蹴られ、接骨院の先生には「大丈夫」太鼓判を押されている。 健康であることが阻害要因になる小さな世界がある、ということを知ったことが、ここでのささやかな成果。ノエルもそう言っているし。#noelthepoodle #fortner #violinconcerto #wilhelmfurtwängler

Stacy Fortner is a Valencia resident, a diehard Democrat and currently a candidate for the Castaic Lake Water Agency District 2.  

She is known for a lot of things.   She was a staunch supporter of Lou Vince during the 25th congressional Primary and as a member of the Democratic Alliance for Action, the local Democratic club, she is known as strong party supporter and activist even recently receiving the Roosevelt award for her contributions.

I thought it would be interesting to talk with her about her candidacy for an agency that is known for keeping its incumbents in office and what she would do differently if elected.   She spoke on her views about the CLWA and why she was running and the challenges that she faces. 

That wasn’t the only reason I wanted to talk to her though. 

Stacy is known for her outspokenness. Say what you will about her, she is anything but shy.  I wanted to ask her about supporting Lou Vince and where she stands with the current 25th congressional candidates.   Lou Vince has recently come out stating he will vote for Steve Knight.  I was curious where she now stood. 

She was extremely forthcoming about her feelings about the primary, the election process, and the DCCC.  

It was an interesting conversation because I find her to be unpredictable at times and eager to take control of a discussion when she can.  With that being said, I’d like to assure my listeners this is the one and ONLY time, I will ever be coaxed into singing on this podcast.  

On the day we met to do this podcast, it was Stacy’s birthday.  She was in a particularly good mood and eager to talk.
