One would think that this weapon is best suited for a status build with some added fire rate, and quality of life mods. Awkward stats (low crit, high crit damage), low fire rate, high status chance... Wrong...
Regular hybrid build later, this thing MELTS lvl 100 enemies(!), with crazy slash-procs, and when you crit, well, lighter units die in one shot... Viral is also great (or even better against high level enemies), and remember, it’s a bow, so you can equip Thunderbolt, though I advise against it (self damage+this much status? good luck!).
I admit, without mods it feels weak, and it’s not for everybody, but it’s fun, and really powerful. Not too expensive, and it requires 2-3 forma for a full build...
