So, in WoW druids have a talent that gives them a certain flat stat bonus as long as they stay in a shapeshifting form, and in the new patch they got a new talent that allows that stat bonus to linger after shifting out. It seems like there are people, who speculate that it's a DPS gain to shapeshift in and out of forms rotationally, which yeah, sucks, but some players are ALREADY asking the devs to delete this new talent? Instead of you know, be a reasonable person and say "this sucks and it doesn't worth it"... We often call WoW devs the "fun-police", and it's not unwarranted, but the reality is, this community doesn't need a "fun-police". Players do this to themselves for free - and unfortunately, to other players too...
So...
...Warframe will get an Y2K themed update where you fight a boy-band infested by a techno-virus and it also has romancable NPC-s. Maybe it's time to play again...
If it were any other game, I'd say the guy who says "I'm better than all of you shitty PvE fans beacuse I have keybinds, and muscle memory" would be just trolling but it was about WoW, so I'm 99% sure this was meant to be serious....
Greetings, dungeoneers! This week’s Beta update includes major changes to the Mythic Keystone affix system in The War Within, based on pla
Casuals gettig the interesting mechanics to play around, while high-end players get the bland, unassuming generic numbers increase they asked for? What's not to like!
Sarcasm aside, I really don't envy those people who run higher keys while still want them to be slightly more than hitting 13 target dummies per pull for a totally worthless shiny number. If you ask me, people who make "M+ is finally saved" comments, will be the first ones to get bored of this...
"My heritage is NOT for sale. Protect unobtainable cosmetics at ALL costs!
FIGHT BACK!" Bigmoran, the bluecheck PvP-er, or whatever 2024.01.28 Dude, calm down, half the top players in the world don't recognize the current elite PvP set of their own class, your 'prestige' doesn't exist, it never did. At least the ongoing WoW drama is actually funny this time.
Blizzard please, what the actual....
Reactions to Hrothgals
Everyone else: "So cute and fluffy" and "I'm not a furry but..." to the evergreen "Mommy?! Sorry!" WoW e-sports org.: "Haha, we'll make dude play furry woman! Haha, funny!"
"F*ck flowers! Woke ActiBlizz turned my edgy class gay!"
I'm amazed by people who looked at the demon hunter class with its BDSM dungeon class hall, Kor'vas Bloodthorne who wants to smooch dragons and a story where your Kirin-Tor contact is a demonic dominatrix's client and said: "Yeah, this look very straight to me!"
Was this, intentional? I'v played this game, I know how it works, but that does little to change the tone of this.
I know every gaming community can be a mess in its own right, but I still believe only a WoW player could call actual foxes "furry sh*t"...
I can't believe I finally get to meet the Grineer Queens and free Teshin from the control of the Kuva Scepter in World of Warcraft...
It took me three years, but I finally downloaded Heart of the Forest, the Werewolf adventure game, and I really loved it, it's an amazing WoD experience, at times I could only watch helpless as the consequences of my actions played out on the screen - a typical Werewolf experience. The format really works for a WoD game, and - at least in my playthrough - I really felt like the creators really hit that tone that most Werewolf fan plays the original TTRPG for.
WoW community kinda hit a new lowpoint these past few weeks: in a season where +25-26 keys (less than 1% of the playerbase) seem possible with the widest range of specs in a long time, suddenly the balance is the worst it's ever been because all the groups who did +30-s, use the same (undeniably dummy strong) team comp. Which then turns into an acutal problem - this is WoW after all, where you can get declined from basic content for playing certain classes (no, really), because no one understand the concept of viability, or doesn't even get what balance means in a real existing game.... Then Blizzard just started monetizing the Trading Post, and some people are like "uhm, actually, why are you mad at microtrasactions in 2023" and somehow these two groups of people have a huge overlap, and it's so inherently weird, that we have a studio where a serial abuser of women had a character turn into a fascist off screen because she was a key character in an xpac where his fav died (not to mention Sylvanas...) but somehow the playerbase manages to make this whole thing so much worse... Rant over.
"bUt DpS rAciaLs BaLaNCe!" It's doubly fun, considering that high-end Alliance raiding almost died out because after mythic Kil'Jaeden everybody wanted access to the goblin rocket-jump racial, you know, a not DPS ability...
Not only there are people vehemently defending a time-travelling quest where we enable the forced breeding of a woman, others join these threads to say that the community just singled out a problematic issue while ignoring everything else wrong with WoW just to derail any conversation about the topic, no that's not enough: turns out a month ago a WoW content creator got so mad about some tweets that he made a 1.5 hour(!) long video about how lore nerds and roleplayers are woke groomers who wage an internet war on PvP fans. How's your gaming community doing these days?
