At his age (mentally, at least), he probably shouldn’t let his heart race that quickly at something so simple as a few words. But the important factor that made these words special was the individual who spoke them. Even if he died of a heart attack, he would have gotten to hear these words one more time.

She only knew that as she woke up trembling with sweat, Madam was already beside her, staring at her a concerned expression.
She only knew that Madam proceeded to embrace her gently, and as she listened to the steady heartbeat of one who had an assassin as her only friend, yet possessed a heart far kinder, and far stronger than her own.
After the trembling subsided, Maiya slowly pulled away.
“I’m alright.” She said, before Irisviel could reply. When the other expressed concern, she nodded reassuringly.
“Madam, don’t worry.”
“It was just a nightmare.”

Does anyone in real life know about your RPing hobby and what, if anything, have they said about it?
A lot of people do! Most of them find it interesting and I like to talk about it. Other people think I can’t tell reality from fantasy and frankly that offends me.
What inspired you to start writing?
I read a lot! Writing is a chance for you to build your own worlds, your own hypothetical situations, and explore! And what’s more, now you can SHARE that experience with someone else! What’s not to like?
What is your favorite genre to write?
... Up front I’ll say fantasy. But I also have a secret love for horror. Not gore horror, but the creeping kind of horror XD
