With July 8 right around the corner, Cancellieri has shared “Fortunate Peace”, a new song from the upcoming album, Closet Songs: A Collection of Demos and Covers. Meant to be experienced as a “companion album” to this April’s Welcome to Mount Pleasant, Closet Songs aims to recreate the captivating and intimate live experience of a Cancellieri performance with an added emphasis on lo-fi acoustics.A compelling counterbalance to its predecessor’s full-band dynamics, Closet Songs will be officially released July 8.
