Fortune Cookie
"You will never have to worry about a steady income". Well, that's nice, I suppose, but I think whoever wrote this one must be entirely oblivious to the recession and such. They're probably steadily employed at the fortune writers'... place. I did not think that sentence through and frankly, I CBA. But yea, vague, but... Well, not vague enough for a fortune cookie... Just like with fortune tellers and such, the idea is to say something vague enough that if something happens, it can be attributed to you, but you aren't at risk of being called out if you're wrong. I mean, granted, fortune cookies are mass produced (unlike fortune tellers. Great, now I'm thinking of factories manufacturing fortune tellers on an assembly line...) but still, yeah.
Of course if you take any of it seriously... well, might wanna think about that for a minute. If you pay money to a fortune teller, unless you're doing it purely for entertainment purposes, CONGRATULATIONS you're how those frauds get paid! (It's gotta be pretty decent pay considering they're still around, though part of that is probably just how naive a lot of people seem to be...)
